There are some places in Jordan that are unavoidable. But when they are 2 steps far from our place, we think that we will have the opportunity and the time to go there. This is why, before leaving Jordan for good, I decided to go to Jerash, to the Husseini Mosque, to the white and black Mosque Abu Darwish that I could see from my previous apartment, to the Citadel, and to drive on the King’s Road. Each time, it was a new emotion. « That’s it. Finally I did it!» It a real pleasure to keep discovering so many things in a city and a country that we though knowing. But finally, I only breezed through them…

Là où je devais aller – Where I had to go

Dans les rues d'Amman - In the streets of Amman

Trip to Egypt
From the 27th of February to the 2nd of March, Andi and I went to Sinai. We had to do this trip because I needed to renew my visa to stay in Jordan. Seeing the Mount Sinai and the Sainte Catherine monastery, was one of my aims. Once over there, I had a real spiritual moment. Me vs. me, in the Sinai. However, the trip was terrifying. We arrived both times in Nuweiba the 28th of February and in Amman the 2nd of March when the sun was rising (Around 5:30 AM), which means no sleep during the trip. It was a terrible trip. But as Xavier says in the « Spanish Apartment », « we tell about the worst experiences the most often”! This is a prove!
